I drew this for my wonderful roommate for Christmas... but I didn't actually finish it until a few days ago (late March).... It's my interpretation of the lovely Princess Mononoke, one of my favorite characters (and movies) ever!
I don't often do fanart, so it was a bit different drawing someone else's character; I don't like how her mouth looks at all- if I were to re-do one aspect of this piece, that would be it. Media used were Faber-Castell/Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils (for the background).

It's always difficult drawing someone else character because you're not sure how far to cross between your own interpretation and style and the original design. You did a really good job! you're colouring is amazing! I like the way you did the fur too, it's got a good "fluffy" feel to it without seeming too tamed or styled.
